This is the first year since 2001 that DC is sending a singular team to the National Poetry Slam (NPS).

DC Slam opens its doors free of charge, so we're strapped for cash.

As you know, it takes a lot of money to send a team to NPS. So if you love slam and want to support this team and see if we can get to finals stage in 2008 in Madison, WI ... please give a little bit (or a lot...we DON'T discriminate on quantity). We truly appreciate the support.
